Paper Players CAS Challenge

Woah, look at that, stamping twice in one week! We got back a little while from Nick's 5th baseball game of the weekend, and mommy needed a little unwinding time. Of course I started in on washing the uniforms right away, boy I should be in an OxiClean commercial!! I'll tell you, that stuff works wonders! Yesterday Nick slid into base several times, getting completely covered in dirt, then he had a cut open up on his knee which bled through his white pants too. Who thought white pants would be a good idea anyway?!?! Once the pants were on their second soaking, I figured I "deserved" some stamping. 

I checked out the Paper Players challenge this week, and it's CAS. I can't get much more clean and simple than this card! It's hard to think that less is more sometimes, I just love those cards I see with lots of "stuff", even though I'm not good at creating things like that!!

I used the Flourishes set called Botanical Bookplates, colored with Copic markers. The die I used is from Flourishes as well. All of the other accessories are from Stampin' Up!.

Flourishes Lovely in Lace Challenge

Well hello there! Wow I have been MIA from the stamping/blogging scene for a few weeks and I was craving some ink on my fingers when I realized I had the evening free last night! You know how it goes, it's baseball season for my son Nick, which means not much stamping time for me, but I'll take what I can get!

I absolutely loved this new wreath image from the Mother's Words of Wisdom set from Flourishes, so when I saw the Lovely in Lace Challenge last night I knew that I would use it. I wanted my image to be on Vanilla card stock, but I wanted to be sure and use card stock that would work best with my Copics, so I colored my image on white, then cut out the wreath and mounted it on Very Vanilla with dimensionals. The lace and dsp are from SU!. The sentiment is from another Flourishes set called Magnolias.
